Checking 'Hide from portal navigation' checkbox in bulk in peoplesoft

I need to check "Hide from portal navigation" checkbox on every cref in ESS menu folder so the pages won't show up on the main portal's search results. Doing it on the ESS's folder cref is not going to work, the pages within the folder will still show up in the search results.
Instead of going through every single cref and doing that manually, is there an efficient way of doing this?
I want to check "Hide from portal navigation" for multiple pages through Peoplecode.How to do it??
