Hi Guys,
This will seems to be a very silly doubt for you,but its really irritating if you have number of component under one folder.
It is very difficult for mee tofind out a perticular component from the list of 40-50 links.
I want to arrange all the left hand navigation link alphabetically,
If any one has know please let me know.
My menu is being such a hassle for mee that i spend my 1/4 day in finding components....
Any suggetions would be worthwhile...
Thanks in advance,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,

Yes there is a way to sort them alphabetically. Navigate to PeopleTools > Portal > Structure and Content and click on the folder that has your components. You should see a Grid and there is a column called Sequence Number. If you edit the sequence number on all of your components to be the same, lets say "100" then the components inside that folder will be ordered alphabetically. You might need to clear your browser cache when your done for the changes to take effect.
Note: If you have labels that are capitalized, they will be at the top of the list.

Bravo......
Thanks a lot once again LEPA.
I want to share some more regarding this for the newcomers.
We can also achieve this from apllication designer.
Open the menu in which you need to arrange the link.
Either you can manually drag the link or you can go to Menu properties and then in USE.
Thats' it....
NOTE: I know u must be already aware of this LEPA.
