Processing MOde

Hi,
What is means of Processing Mode in Component.(Deferred and Interactive).
pls explain any one in simple way

Interactive mode means as soon as you edit/change a field value, all relevant code will fire right away and the webserver will make a trip to the appserver to update teh page so the user will see the results of his change right away.
use Interactive mode if you only needed otherwise use defered, meaning code and edits will fire on page save.
