Upgrading to PeopleSoft HCM 9.1 and PeopleTools 8.5

Hi!
Did anybody has upgraded to PeopleSoft HCM 9.1 and People Tools 8.5. As we are planning for the upgadation, so it will be really helpful for us if you people will share the upgradation and post upgradation experience.

We have just upgraded from PeopleSoft Financials 8.8 SP1 to 9.0 in the test environment and facing a strange issue. Whenever we run any crystal report of type BOE from the process scheduler and send it directly to the printer, it prints the report plus several page of junk chars. Reports sent to pdf, files and other output destinations are all working fine. SQRS are working fine. Did you by any chance face this issue during your HCM upgrade to 9.0?

Hi Jayashree,
I don't the exact solution of your issue, however I would suggest you to once check the below points,
1. As the report was printing fine with 8.8SP1, so once check whether the Cystal Report version also needs to upgarde separately for PS FIN 9.0
2. Also, it might be possible that PS FIN 9.0 has some bugs with Printer, so you can ask GSC for patch or bundle.
3. Check once the charaterset supported by your printer.
