First off, I have no experience with VBA. I am trying to come up with an Excel Macro that pulls information from a cell to save a file with a specific name to a specific location.
Any help that can be provided will be greatly appreciated!
Dear All,
I am looking for a macro to save a file name with active cell value(where the cursor is placed) and with 3 date options.

Hi,
I try to transfer a file from windows to unix. The transfer terminate with success by when I verify the file transfered, I see some special characters instead of character like É or È or Ô or Ê or Ï because we use French language.
example: the address "Boulevard DE LA CÔTE-VERTU" is translated as "Boulevard DE LA C\303\224TE-VERTU".
Is there some option to make translation correctly.
Thanks.
A PHP form on a Web page allows a user to data that is sent to a server for processing. For example, the site almost every society contains a contact form so visitors can send a message to the owner of the site.
This form of contact usually contains a number of areas - the visitor's name to the e-mail and a key to the message. PHP forms similar to paper forms, because Internet users to complete forms with checkboxes, radio buttons or text boxes.
I'm new to VBA and am trying to save an .xls file I received today with last Friday's date in the file name (i.e. TGO_20090807). I receive many files all week and would like to use a macro to save them all as they arrive in this save folder. Once I receive all of the weekly files I want to create a macro that will zip all the text files and save them to a new zip file using the same file name (i.e. TGO_20090807.zip). I'll need to do this every week so I need the macro to be able to change the dates each week to last Friday's date.
I am saving a ton of files as .dbf files and I wondered if there is a way to disable the message that comes up every single time, warning of potential format loss, etc? I am using Excel 2003.
Thanks in advance.
